A donation of $6,500 was given to the Waterloo Community Foundation by PDCM Insurance, through the 16th Annual Chubb Charity Golf Tournament held at Pinehurst, North Carolina in November. A foursome led by Kent McCausland, a Waterloo Community Foundation Board member and PDCM partner and team members Chris Fereday, CEO and President of PDCM; Bryan Earnest, President and CEO of Amperage; and Travis Mattoon, President and CEO of BioMarkinetics competed in a handicapped event with over 60 teams from around the country. The group qualified earlier in the season by winning the Iowa-Nebraska division at Glen Oaks Country Club in Des Moines.

The Chubb Charity Challenge, a national golf tournament, brings together insurance agents, brokers and customers throughout the United States and Canada each year to raise money for a local charity of their choice. Since its creation in 2000, the tournament series has raised nearly $14 million.

“Charities need our help more than ever,” said Kent McCausland, Waterloo Community Foundation board member. “The Foundation was a perfect choice for our golf team, as we all support the efforts of this newly-formed Waterloo-based organization.”
