Waterloo Community Foundation Announces “Windows on Waterloo” Presentation with YWCA Black Hawk County
Waterloo – The public is invited to join the Waterloo Community Foundation on Thursday, August 5 at 11 am for “Windows on Waterloo” to learn about the YWCA Black Hawk County. The YWCA Black Hawk County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Learn more about the YWCA here: https://www.ywcabhc.org/.
Executive Director Cindy Mohr will share a brief history of the YWCA, and their mission, vision and current programs; plus their plans for future programs and partnerships related to the second phrase of their “Preserving the Past – Ensuring the Future” capital project. The YWCA Black Hawk County offers many services that respond to the priority needs of women and their families by providing child care, adult and youth fitness, Latino and multicultural services, and more.
